Childhood Memories

This is also a favorite picture of mine. I was actually shy at one time in my life. Don't know what happened but I can definitely say that I grew out of it quickly! My sister and I have the same outfit that year for school pictures. WOW! What a cruel thing to do to children. LOL

This picture was taken when I was in head start or kindergarten. We lived in a house on Holdeman Avenue Louisville, Kentucky.

I have very few memories of the house but the memories I do have are strong. I think it is funny how you only remember when you got in trouble! LOL I was left alone in the bathroom and mom had these nice Avon lipstick samples. They were on a tiered white plastic stand. I am not sure where she got them but I thought they were so pretty and would make wonderful crayons! I painted every wooden slat on our bathroom pantry (under the sink) a different color. It made the bathroom so pretty! LOL See I was showing signs of my creativity even then. I remember having to clean them with Comet.
