Blue Sky Gallery

My photographer husband, Ed and I took a trip downtown Portland the other day to explore. We jumped on the MAX and made a day of walking the downtown area to see what we could see. I have to admit it was my first time ever on a public bus! 

We walked several blocks and loved our discovery! Blue Sky Gallery. Ed had seen it advertised before but we were so excited to finally get into it. As we walked in, the volunteer greeted us. He gave us general directions and said he would be more than glad to answer any questions that we may have. 

I loved the layout and design of the gallery. Stark white walls that made the photographs pop! They featured two photographers in two different areas. Each area had great lighting to display their captures and comfortable seating so the viewer could relax. 

If I am not mistaken, the gallery features new photographers every two or three weeks. I think that they bring around 20-30 different shows. It was definitely worth the visit and I will be going back!  Check them out!
